Festningen Rundt 2023 will take place on Sunday, September 3rd, and is a traditional hiking race that has been held since 1980. The race no longer has a competitive category and therefore serves purely as a fitness event. The start and finish area is located at the northern end of the park around the Fortress, at the intersection of Festningsgata and Båhus gate, and the course consists of 3 laps in the park by and around the Fortress.
